In José Luis González Obregón’s bodegas in El Puerto de Santa María is a solera of just 10 casks, which is the source of this delightful Amontillado. Tawny gold in colour the wine is pungent and aromatic, with delicate oak notes.
This sherry works well with spicy Asian food, and of course more traditional pairings such as consommés, charcuterie (especially smoked meats,) cheese and richly flavoured fish and seafood dishes.
