Lustau Don Nuño Oloroso is the kind of sherry we like to show to non-sherry drinkers. It has a deceptively sweet nose but dry palette.

Maple, sugared almonds and figs are at the front of the palette but dry, vibrant acidity, walnuts and a touch of spice come through on the finish.
