Grapes are grown on a plot of low-vigour, stony, clay-rich, shale-derived soil. Yields were particularly low, with Chardonnay coming in at 1.50 tons/ha (9.15 hl/ha). After barrel fermentation, the wine undergoes 9 months of oak age in 300 litre French Oak Barrels.
