Chenin Blanc 100%

Grapes are from vines averaging 30 years old growing in linestone and clay / limestone soils. The juice is fermented at low temperatures with natural yeasts in old oak barrels or ovoid tanks. The wine is aged on the fine lees for 12 months with regular stirring.

Damien Pinon is the 3rd generation of his family to make wines on the estate in Vernou  sur  Brenne, east of Vouvray. He produces a range of still and sparkling wines, using grapes from his 29 hectares of vineyards.
