2012 is considered an excellent vintage for Brunello di Montalcino. Characterised by extreme weather, a cold winter followed by a remarkably warm summer, the year produced rich, concentrated wines with ripe fruit and freshness which have the best have the structure to age.
Aged for more than 3 years in 7,5 - 30 hl Slavonian oak barrels, followed by over 12 months of bottle ageing before release.
