This extremely accessible wine is named after the unassuming and loveable character from Blackadder. It’s floral notes of cherry blossom infused with sweet cinnamon, juicy plums and a hint of smoke make it the ideal wine to enjoy on a cold evening, with a steak or Baldrick’s favourite, the humble turnip. In three words, this wine is elegant, soft and fruity.
The wine is aged in second and third fill 400 litre French oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation is allowed to take place, ensuring a silky smooth and characterful wine.
