The grapes are grown in the rugged landscape of the foothills of the Pyrenees in south west France. The vineyards have mineral rich schist soils and long established vines. Grapes are hand harvested and whole bunch pressed before a cool fermentation.
Owner Moritz Bak's interest in wine started at an early age as he spent long summers with his wine loving Grandfather in the south of France. He spent time travelling and working in the vineyards and wineries of some of the worlds best wine producers before returning to Roussillon and selecting vineyard sites which would produce grapes with which he could realise his vision: From the toughest terrain - the finest wine. His first vintage was produced in 2014. Acclaim and awards soon followed.
