Made using old bush vine Cinsault planted in 1978 blended with Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermented naturally using 40% whole bunches and barrel aged in older 225L French oak barrels for 12 – 15 months.
Ian of Naudé wines never had the opportunity to meet his grandfather; Oupa Willem. He has, however, had the chance to hear wonderful stories about his Oupa and when naming this wine wanted to gift it his story and character.
