Grapes are grown in free draining, granite soils in Ponte de Lima, close to the coast in the north west of Portugal. Sustainable practices are employed and no herbicides are used in the vineyards.
Grapes are pressed and the juice fermented in stainless steel tanks, using natural yeasts. The wine is bottled before fermentation is complete without filtration or the addition of sulphur.
