Field Recordings Winery is an unusual enterprise! Owner, Andrew Jones' "main" job is a vineyard advisor: planning and planting vineyards for wine producers across California. Through his relationships with these producers, Andrew sources small quantities of grapes from specific locations within vineyards. He refers to these purchases as "diamonds in the rough", and back in the winery he uses the grapes to create small batch wines that reflect the character and geography of the vineyard sites.
