80% Merlot; 10%; Cabernet Franc; 10% Cabernet Sauvignon
Duet was inspired by the dual concept of creating a wine that is both enjoyable to drink and appealing to true wine connoisseurs. The wine is made up of classic Bordeaux varietals such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, and it is aged in oak barrels for 24-30 months to add complexity and depth of flavour.
In 1990, the Simcic family established their winery in Slovenia's stunning Gorizia Hills, and today they have 30 acres of vines set on the gentle slopes around the village of Vipole, from which they produce artisanal wines from both local and international grape varieties. The region is a short distance from Friuli in Italy, and the Mediterranean climate and nearby Alps provide ideal conditions for premium winemaking.
