Grapes are grown in clay / loam soil on the plateau of Neac and on a gravelly mound on the plateau of Pomerol. The grapes from each plot are vinified separately, starting with a cool maceration at 8-10°C followed by alcoholic fermentation in cone shaped tanks. After a further maceration of 3 - 5 weeks the wine is transferred to oak barrels (75% new) and aged for 18 - 24 months before blending and bottling.
