Bodegas Ximénez-Spínola Exceptional Harvest 2022 Jerez

There are not many wineries that can claim to plant only one varietal, let alone one that could easily be seen as being out of fashion, but that is precisely what Bodegas Ximénez-Spínola have done since 1729. Working solely with Pedro Ximénez, for so long, has made them masters of their trade and the wines they produce are simply magnificent.

This Pedro Ximenez - "Exceptional Harvest" 2017 is full of character. Intriguing, slightly off dry nose and a medium palate. There are flavours of fresh figs and caramelised almonds.

We think this wine can offer some interesting pairings with roasted cauliflower, black pudding, goats cheese and fruity baked puddings.
