As the name suggests, a whole host of different varieties:
Old Vine Zinfandel; Carignan; Petite Sirah; Mourvèdre; Alicante Bouschet; Grenache; Syrah; Barbera
Produced in a solera system using surplus grapes from the Bedrock vineyards to provide a level of consistency. Each bottling is given a sequential Cuvée number.
Bedrock Wine Co had very modest origins: Morgan Twain-Peterson started making his wine in a small converted chicken coop in a friend's back yard. Sourcing his grapes from a few responsibly farmed local vineyards Morgan progressed to using a friend's winery then his own set up in a tin sided warehouse. In addition to making superb wine, Morgan's mission is to support and rehabilitate old vineyards across California that were initially planted by the State's winemaking pioneers in the late 19th / early 20th century.
