100% Riesling

Daniel Vollenweider (originally from Switzerland) arrived in the Mosel in 1999. He had no money but a massive appreciation of Riesling. He bought a hectare of a near-derelict vineyard, the Wolfer Goldgrube, which had very old ungrafted vines and had fallen far from it's prominence. His estate has grown to 6ha, and has never produced a sub-standard wine.
