The Western Cape might not be Bordeaux but with its warm climate and cooling Cape Doctor winds, the region allows Cabernet Sauvignon to ripen and show its true brilliance.

With the ability to age, this is one of the best wines to purchase a case every vintage and enjoy for years to come. That's not to say it should not be drunk now though, as in its youth the exuberant fruit and fine tannins make for a brilliant food wine. A great wine for a gift or to enjoy with friends.
