Txomin Etxaniz Txakoli 2021 Getariako Txakolina

Txakolina is a wine that comes from the Basque region in Spain and is made from Hondarrabi Zuri. The wines are extremely fresh and vibrant. Perfect for oily fish, pintxos (the Basque version of Tapas) or drunk ice cold on a hot day. If you ever get the chance to visit San Sebastian you will experience the intriguing way that Txakoli is served. It gets poured from a hieght which aerates and removes carbon dioxide from the wine. Most of the wine ends up splashing on the bar tops, but don't worry, you always get the same size serving and wont get short changed!
