Pinot Gris (Grauburgunder) 100%
The grapes are grown in the Rhinehessen-region. Millions of years ago this area was covered by sea (Umeer.) As the water retreated, rich, mineral soils were left behind. During the final ice age these soils were covered by nutritious drifting sand - loess. These environmental legacies have created vineyard areas with soil characteristics and water retention properties perfectly suited to viticulture.
Reh Kendermann was established in the Moselle valley in 1920 by Carl Reh. The subsequent merger of his Carl Reh winery with Leiwen, and Hermann Kendermann, Bingen, made the Reh Kendermann GmbH Winery one of Germany’s leading wine exporters.
