Grapes are harvested by hand, then cooled before crushing and pressing. The juice is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats, using natural yeasts.
Lúcia Freitas worked in some of the best wineries in the Dão region before returning to her family estate in Terras de Senhorim and founding Quinta da Mariposa. She runs the business with husband Filipe.
