Pale straw coloured. The aromas are delicate; blossom, lemon-sherbet, citrusy, ginger powder, apple tart and
mineral (flinty). A sense of purity. The palate is pretty, delicate and refreshing. There’s the trademark citrus notes
(limes and fresh clementine) combined with oyster shell and slate. Hints of old-fashioned lemonade, lemon curd, baked quince, and beeswax. This wine has credentials, and structure, to cellar well.

Grapes are grown on stony, free draining soils in the Waihopai Valley in Marlborough. A stream running through the vineyards moderates the temperature compared to the general area, helping preserve the freshness and aromatic flavours of the grapes. The free run juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks using Siha 7 refined yeast and cool temperatures in order to preserve the delicate aromas and flavours.
Little Beauty is a small, independent wine producer whose first vintage was released in 2008. They concentrate on small batch varietal wines that reflect the character of the beautiful Waihopai Valley.
