2015 was a golden vintage for the Sauternes region. After a long, hot period in July, gentle rains at the beginning of August aided the development of well flavoured grapes. Harvest was manual, with frequent passes through the vineyard to ensure that grapes were picked at the optimum time. Fermentation took place in a combination of stainless steel and wooden barrels, followed by 8 months aging in French oak barrels. The special characteristics of this wine result from the careful blending of all the individual fermentation lots.
