Produced with grapes grown on the 3 distinct soil types of the Domaine: Kimmeridgian Marls,
Limestone and Flint.
After harvest the grapes undergo gentle pressing then the juice is allowed to settle before transferring by gravity to the stainless steel fermentation vessels. Temperature is maintained below 17°C to maintain the freshness of the finished wine. The wine matures in stainless steel tanks on the fine lees for a period of 3 - 6 months before bottling.
Philippe Seguin became the sixth generation of his family to run the wine making business when he took over from his father in 2000. They grow only Sauvignon Blanc grapes in the Pouilly-Fumé AoC, but with 19ha of vineyards over 22 plots they nurture the unique characteristics of each location and blend them to produce distinct, complex wines.
