Cabernet Franc 100%
Produced with grapes harvested on the sunny, southern slopes of Beauvais, Brunetières and Bézards. Fermentation is in wooden vats, with frequent pumping over and punching down during the 20 day maceration period. The wine is bottled after light filtration.
The family vineyard was initially developed by Pierre Guyot in 1869. His son-in-law, Jules Lamé was one of the first viticulturists to work with grafted vines following the phylloxera destruction. In 1947, Jules' son, Lucien and his wife Yvonne (whose maiden name was Delisle,) decided not to follow the tradition of selling their grapes to local producers, but begin making their own wine under the name Lamé-Delisle.
In 1965 Jules and Yvonne's daughter, Maryvonne married René Boucard, a winemaker from the neighbouring town. He joined the family winemaking business and in 1969 his contribution was reflected in the change of name to Domaine Lamé Delisle Boucard.
