Single vineyard wine, with vines growing in sandy loam soils.
Grapes are picked and sorted by hand, then fermented with natural yeasts in stainless steel vats. The wine is aged for 3 months in stainless steel tanks before bottling without fining or filtering.
The Riverland region is hot and dry, which convinced Con-Greg Grigoriou that southern Italian grape varieties would thrive. His objective with Delinquente is to create wines in small batches, with minimal intervention, that reflect the Riverland environment - and are great fun to drink!
The distinctive labels are designed by the Adelaide street artist, Ankles.
