Assario, (Malvasia Fino,) 100%
Évora in Alentejo has a very long wine making history: the Floral in the wine name refers to the royal decree for winemaking granted to the city in 1501 by King Manuel I!
Grapes are grown in the granite soils of the Fundação Eugénio de Almeida vineyards. Grapes picked in the cool nightime, to preserve freshness, then fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged on the lees in stainless steel, with regular battonage, for 8 months before bottling.
