The grapes are pressed and left in contact with the skins to take a little colour before being sent of to tank. Post fermentation the wine is sent for three months to new french oak casks. This adds some back bone to the wine.
Red fruits like strawberries, raspberries and cherries very well integrated with fine toasty and spicy notes like clove, as result of the barrel aging. Deliciously creamy on the finish. This is summer in a glass!
