Bodegas Muriel's Reserva is produced with grapes from 35 year old vines, growing on poor loamy, - clay calcareous soils in Elciego on the north bank of the Ebro in Rioja Alavesa. The wine is aged for 24 months in 225L French and American Oak barrels, then for a further 2 years in bottle before release.
