Field blend of Tempranillo (approx 95%,) Garnacha and other traditional varieties.
Grapes are sourced from bush vines planted in the 1940's, growing in the small La Estrada Alta vineyard, 610 meters above sea level.
Grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in 3,000 kilogram, open topped oak vats, using natural yeasts. The wine is aged for 15 months in 500 litre oak casks, before bottling without fining or filtration.
